Apply Expert Epoxy Primer by airless spray, brush or roller. For airless spray, a moisture and oil free compressed air should be used. Before application, the surface must be free from oil, grease, dirt, loose rust, and other foreign matters. Surface preparation can be done by sand blasting to Sa 2.5 or by mechanical means to achieve a clean surface. Application should be done between 10-35°C. A two component epoxy primer should be mixed thoroughly before use. Pot life after mixing is 4-6 hours at 25°C.
PRE-TREATMENT
The surface to be painted should be free from oil, grease and dirt. For metal surfaces, blast cleaning should be done to Sa 2.5. Metals like aluminium and zinc without chemical treatment should be primed with a suitable primer like wash primer.
